Anna Marie's Tea Review: Kenilworth Estate
Site description:
From the tropical island of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, comes the exquisite Kenilworth Estate Tea. The island is found just off the southern tip of India. Known around the world for its lively, full malty-flavor, and smooth delicious brew. Named after Kenilworth Castle of England. Kenilworth Estate Tea is considered to be a hallmark of Ceylon's medium grown teas.
Review:
A solid morning cup of tea that can easily withstand multiple steepings without too much astringency.
- 1st steep: 212 F for 3 minutes
- 2nd steep: 212 F for 5 minutes
- 3rd steep: 212 F for 7? minutes. It gets pretty watery here, so probably not worth steeping more than two times unless you use a higher tea to water ratio with shorter steepings.
